Welcome to Biopix-t or “the Website” which is owned by Biopix DNA Technology P.C. (Biopix-t). This notice describes Biopix-t’s privacy policy related to the services provided at https://biopix-t.com/(the Services).
Biopix-t adheres to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) that went into effect on May 25, 2018. Focused on data privacy, GDPR is the EU legal framework for the protection of personal data. We are confident that our existing practices provide a strong foundation upon which to build our GDPR compliance activities.
Biopix-t respects and values your privacy. This notice is intended to give you confidence in the privacy and security of any personal information that is entrusted to Biopix-t.

Who we are
The Website is operated by Biopix DNA Technology P.C. (Biopix-t) which is the data controller. This Privacy Notice applies solely for this Website or any sub domain or Services which are owned by Biopix-t, and not for any other sites of other providers linked to this Site which are not owned by Biopix-t.

Transfer | Transfer means to disclose or otherwise make personal data available to a third party, either by physical movement of the personal data to such third party or by enabling access to the personal data by other means. |
Types of personal data collected by the Website
In case you use the Website, Biopix-t may ask for and collect personal information about you and your organization (business). Biopix-t may collect your personal information including non-public information which will assist Biopix-t identify you. This information may include:

- Telephone number

We also collect personal data when you contact us, such as for customer service purposes.
All the aforementioned information are given by you voluntarily and with your consent.
Why we use and collect your personal data
Biopix-t uses and collects your personal data in order:
- To provide its requested services.
- To offer to its users personalized content.
- To process and respond to user feedback and inquiries.
- For administration and improvement of the services and the Website.
- To inform the users about new features, events and services with user consent or provide information about the Site.
- For other purposes as long as those purposes were clearly disclosed when the information was collected to the data subject.
- To enforce the Terms of Use, i.e., to contact its users about an infraction of the Terms of Use or to initiate a legal complaint.
Legal basis for Processing
Any personal information transmitted to the Website is used solely for the stated purposes when the information was transferred and any of the uses described in this Privacy Notice document. Our legal basis for the processing of personal data is the following:
(a) Consent: you have given us a clear consent to process your personal data for a specific purpose (e.g. to respond to requests for information and to provide you with marketing communications).
(b) Contract: to fulfill a contract with you or with your company (including providing support and service).
(c) Legal obligation: the processing is necessary in order to comply with the law (not including contractual obligations).
(d) Legitimate interests: We may also process your personal data for the purposes of our legitimate interests, provided that such processing shall not outweigh your rights and freedoms. In particular, we may process your personal information as needed to:
- Protect you, Biopix-t or others from threats (such as security threats or fraud);
- Comply with the laws that are applicable to us around the world,
- Enable or administer our business, such as for quality control, analytics, consolidated reporting, and product development;
- Understand and improve our business or customer relationships generally.
Who we share your data with
User personal information will be transferred to affiliated companies and service providers of Biopix-t that have contractual obligations to Biopix-t, such as IT providers, to perform contractual obligations. In case third parties meet user personal information, Biopix-t shall have made use of legal, technical and organizational measures and regular monitoring regarding such parties’ compliance with the relevant data protection regulations and with this Privacy Notice.
We may disclose personal data, where permitted by law, to enforce our rights, including Terms of Use, protect our property, or protect the rights, property or safety of others, or as needed to support external auditing, compliance and corporate governance functions. We will also always disclose personal data when required to do so by law, including law enforcement agencies and courts.
Please note that we may anonymize and/or aggregate your personal data to allow us to disclose information that is not personally identifiable. For example, we may publish reports that contain aggregated and statistical data. These reports do not contain any information that would enable the recipient to contact, locate or identify you.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.
Your data protection rights
You have the following rights in terms of your personal data:
- The right to request access to your personal data, you can ask to receive a copy of your data and to check if they are lawfully processed.
- The right to have your personal data corrected or erased;
- The right to object to or restrict the processing of your personal data, for example where such information is not accurate or no longer serve the purpose they were collected,
- The right to data portability, i.e. to receive a copy of your data in electronic form or to have your personal data transferred from us to another party;
- The right to object automated decision-making or profiling based on your personal data;
- The right to withdraw your consent, any withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before it was withdrawn by you.
In the event that you wish to exercise any of these rights, Biopix-t shall undertake all necessary measures to satisfy the relevant request within the time limits set by the law, by notifying you in writing of the satisfaction of the request or alternatively the reasons that prevent the exercise of such rights or satisfaction of such request.

In addition, any Website user who objects to the processing of the data by Biopix-t is entitled to address a request to the competent supervisory authority (Greek Data Protection Authority), which reviews written complaints in accordance with the instructions provided for in its website (www.dpa.gr).
In case the company has transferred the personal data to any other parties (data sub-processors), Biopix-t shall inform these data sub-processors when the data subjects request to amend, restrict processing and erase their personal data.
Transfer of Data
Your personal data may be transferred to, stored at or processed in other countries which may not have equivalent privacy or data protection laws. However, regardless of where your personal data is transferred, we will protect it in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law. Personal data transfers from the European Economic Area (EEA) and other countries with data transfer restrictions will be authorized by approved model contracts or other appropriate means.
Data retention
We will retain your personal data for as long as the information is needed for the purposes set forth above and for any additional period that may be required or permitted by law. In case of an external private business agreement with you, Biopix-t may retain your personal data for a period as defined in the private agreement. You may request that we delete your personal data by contacting our DPO. Unless we have a compelling interest in retaining your information, it will be deleted within 30 days of your request.
Data Security
Biopix-t has taken required, where applicable, or reasonable technical and operational precautions in order to protect personal data stored in Biopix-t filesystems from unauthorized access, misuse or loss. Biopix-t security procedures are monitored regularly and updated in line with technological progress.
No transmission of data over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. It may be possible for third parties not under the control of Biopix-t to intercept or access transmissions or private communications unlawfully. While Biopix-t strives to secure personal data, neither Biopix-t nor its collaborating service providers can ensure or warrant the security of any transmitted data to us over the internet. Any such transmission is at your own risk.

Privacy Notice changes
Biopix-t may revise this Privacy Notice at any time as it integrates new features or modify the way in which it manages data, or as laws change that may subsequently affect its Services. In case of a change, Biopix-t will post the changes on the Website and update the last updated date of this Privacy Notice. Any revised Privacy Notice will apply both to data already collected about you at the time of the change, and any personal data created or received after the change takes effect. You should periodically review this Privacy Notice, to see if there have been any changes that may affect you.
